Measure twice, order once

Size guide

The right length and ring make all the difference to comfort. It takes two minutes with a soft tape measure, or a strip of paper and a ruler.

How to
measure

Measure when you're relaxed, ideally in a warm room. Take each measurement twice.

  1. Measure soft

Measure when fully soft and relaxed, not after a hot shower or exercise. Cold can make you smaller, so a normal room is best.

  2. Length

Lay a ruler along the top, from the base to the tip, without pressing in. Round to the nearest half centimetre.

  3. Base circumference

Wrap a soft tape, or a strip of paper you then measure, all the way around the base where the ring will sit. Keep it snug, not tight.

Checking
your fit

Signs of a good fit

  • The ring sits snugly without pinching or marking the skin
  • Colour and temperature stay normal
  • The cage rests close to the body without pressing
  • You can wear it for an hour with no discomfort

Stop and adjust if

  • You feel pain, numbness or tingling
  • You notice swelling or a change in skin colour
  • The ring leaves deep marks: try the next ring size up
  • It slips off easily: try the next ring size down

Sizing
questions

What if I'm between two lengths?

Choose the shorter one if you want it to feel secure, or the longer one if you plan to wear it for long stretches.

Which ring should I start with?

Start with the ring the size finder suggests. If it pinches or leaves deep marks, go up a size. If it slides off easily, go down a size. All four rings are in the kit.

Can I swap my cage for a different length?

For hygiene reasons we don't accept change-of-mind returns, so please measure before you order. See our refund policy for details.

Is this guide medical advice?

No. It's general sizing help. Build up wear time slowly, and if you have a medical condition, check with a doctor before use.
